SRAM crank on BB30 bike - everyone happy

I had a nice GXP crank from my old bike and a new BB30 frame - and this kit fitted the bill perfectly. The end result is pretty smooth and durable. Notes: If you are building a new build you will still need bottom brackets - the bikes have them in some ABEC levels - be sure to order "clipped" bearings if you are not replacing existing ones. Clamps are installed in the bearings. I found that using a press helped install the bearings and (to a lesser extent) bushings from this kit. Various YouTube videos describe how to install BB30 bearings using hammers and wooden blocks (Borrow a press, especially when it comes to swearing). The documentation on the Wheels website seems to refer to a simpler bushing kit with fewer parts - this kit was helpful for my particular setup as I had to play around with the "stack" connection to get the crank properly aligned and tightened" precisely". To avoid disappointment, note that the large "beveled" bushing is for the drive side and has a slightly larger bore that sits entirely on the crankshaft - the other side (at least in my case) sits just above the splined one. part of the non-drive side. I'm a fan - my SRAM crank now fits my BB30 frame perfectly - no squeaks or squeaks and it spins like glass. - J
