The Wireless Outer Mike seemed like just the ticket for winter coats and layers, but the extra hassle of turning it on and making sure the other 2 devices are working is a pain. Also the time it takes to Sending the button down is significantly longer. It is then frequently disconnected and reconnected. This is the most annoying part. I sent it back. I do not recommend. There are also 2 transfer buttons. The instructions say the top one is programmable but don't explain how. I couldn't understand. On my UV-82 HP, both send buttons only worked on my B-channel.
