The only drawback is that the temperature setting does not work properly. This can be dangerous if the user doesn't take care of it. If I set it to 102 degrees, sometimes it goes higher and sometimes it goes lower. This happens about 65% of the time. I personally just deal with it and constantly adjust to my comfort level. I don't mind because it's a good deal for the price. Oh the main downside is my feet are a size 12 and I don't have much room to move my feet. If only it were an inch or two longer!
