How to take care of this kind of stuffed animals and what they are made of

These have always been my favorite toys. After reading some negative reviews, here are a few things you should know before you buy this toy and how to take care of it: 1. These are NOT foam squeezes, aka slow rising squeezes, they are "mochi squashes" (because they look and feel feel). like rice mochis). They are actually made out of a super soft material called elastomer (essentially a flexible plastic). I personally like how they "crush" better than foam. They are wobbly and resilient, like gel2. Elastomer is *very* delicate material and stretching it too much will result in small tears, it can also "roll" like cloth if rubbed too hard. It's better to knead and poke them with your fingers than to stretch them (although it's sooooo much fun) or rub them. They last a lot longer just by poking and poking, it's like slime in terms of texture3. They are velvety because they have a fine powder (just like real mochi). If this powder is washed off, they will become sticky, but this can be corrected by sprinkling with talc or cornstarch. Putting them in water will separate the powder and make your mochi sticky, but water is the way to clean them when they get dirty. Just don't forget to powder them after bathing4. It's better to play with them on a hard, clean surface like a desk or table. If you play with them on the carpet, floor or bed, they will be more likely to "ball" and pick up dirt like an eraser. Kids can destroy them in a matter of hours if they don't know what kind of play could damage them (basically rubbing with dirty hands and stretching as much as possible). I'm speaking straight from my childhood experience lol6. Don't store them and don't leave them in contact with hard plastic for a long time, the two plastics will eventually try to fuse and this will leave a strange sticky indentation on the hard plastic (which is scientifically interesting, but the damage is irreversible)7. They get weird and sticky/sticky when exposed to heat, not stored in direct sunlight, or left in a hot car8. If treated with care, they will last a long time! Of course, you can just sacrifice them to stretch and squish to your heart's content, but be aware they won't look good or last long. I can't believe I just wrote a guide to this stupid stuff. The college stress is clearly getting to me. I hope this helps someone else enjoy these nice little toys a little. Well, it's time to make some treats and write that sketch! @_@

Pros
  • 🎁 NOTE: These little stuffed animals are all about 1.7 inches tall and have a variety of adorable mini stuffed animals, such as cat, panda, elephant, dolphin, rabbit and bunny, etc. etc. And make sure your little kids don't put it in their mouths.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
