Pros: This is a very good stand for my shavets as the tail fits into a hole in the bottom support and no room for Rust will form on the underside of the tail as with my vertical stand where the tail sits in a recess at the base of the chrome stand and will rust quickly. I also really like being able to keep my shavetta with the blade partially open to dry - without having to close it. Cons: This stand requires a much heavier base. Every time I touch my razor, the stand falls off. I have to concentrate very hard to avoid that. It seems to fall off most of the time when I take the razor out of the stand. The stand is too light. Verdict: The functionality is really good and although I would fall off so easily, I would buy another one if I couldn't find one with a heavier foot.
