Warm but smelly. in cold weather

It does the job well - very warm and stays on my face, but I've washed it 3 times and my daughter complains that it smells bad when I cycle it in the morning in winter school wear . I just can't bring myself not to smell it and since she has sensory issues it's useless to us :(
