This pin came in a nice box which is great for gift wrapping. The pin itself is a bright and shiny gold color and looks great on dark fabrics. . It's very detailed and beautiful. The crystals are very shiny and don't look cheap. The chains tend to twist, but I expected that. Straightening the limbs takes a few minutes after you attach the pin to the lapel. There was an accidental enamel stain on my pin, so I'm deducting a star from my rating. I've gotten a lot of pins from this company and haven't had a lot of problems, but sometimes there were small errors. This is costume jewelry, so the tallow will eventually stain it. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be a problem much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet.
