Review on StrictlyStability Achilles Tendonitis Support Regular by Tony Buckley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works amazingly well for tendinitis (EDIT)

I'm starting my review by not exactly knowing HOW it works, but after a week it worked VERY well for me. I think it has something to do with how he's squeezing and flexing the achilles tendon allowing blood to get to areas that don't normally get it and it really helped the healing process. But I do not know. I am 40 years old and have suffered from chronic Achilles tendinitis for many years. At least 8 or so. I was a semi-regular runner and that's when it first came out. But I took long breaks and it passed. I've been quite active for the past two years. No more running, which is the surest way to get tendinitis right back, but basketball and racquetball weekly. My Achilles tendonitis is so advanced that I'm afraid it will tear. I'm almost pain free when warming up, but sometimes I feel a burning/tingling sensation. But then and in the mornings/after rest periods it is very sore and stiff until I walk for a while. I bought a bandage and wore it for about three hours on the night of Thursday October 17th. The next morning my Achilles was not sick. I played basketball on a Saturday morning and on Sunday morning I hardly felt it. Now, a week later, I still don't feel it. Of course I'm skeptical, that's in my nature. I'm waiting for it to come back or break because I did something to the braces. But so far it feels great. And I only wore it once for three hours! So far I'm very happy but I'll update it for some reason crap hits the fans. EDIT: Well, the tendonitis is back, but it's not the band's fault. I just have some sort of imbalance or something that's putting more stress on my right hamstring than my left. I now have tendonitis with nodules. The group still helps get some level of healing and blood in hard-to-reach places. I would say use it before it gets too bad.
