Excellent Customer Database Software for Small Business

I work at an automotive repair shop that uses binary demand software to keep track of all our customer's information (name/address) along with their vehicle history reports. The best part is being able to create multiple lists using different criteria; this makes it easy when pulling records from databases or other sources. It can be slow once you have more than one page open if doing mass imports or exports into spreadsheets. Sometimes we need to use the export tool where there isn't anything visible but some changes are made via code behind which then causes issues later trying to pull them back out again so they end up getting lost forever until manually exported again. Use it! We've been running AD since 2008 without any major glitches & haven't had much trouble either even over many years. There weren't better options available prior to using BD so no complaints here. The best thing about this software is that it has all features you will need which makes managing customer information easy! I like how they have so many different ways to get rid of duplicate records from their database even if there isn't an exact match between two fields. It's also very user friendly with no technical knowledge needed at first glance! There are some minor glitches but nothing major or hard to fix once identified. We use BINARY DEMAND to manage our client files (customers).

Pros
  • It doesn't take a lot of knowledge to be able to use it to its full capabilities
Cons
  • I dislike how some of the records get lost when trying to export or import them back out into another database
