Beautiful and bright best among USB bulbs

I wasn't expecting it and it doesn't have its own battery. This is normal as it is powered by the laptop's AC adapter. The light is really nice and bright which allows me to see the keyboard. It also has a switch that allows you to turn the light on and off. Excellent price.
