The perfect walking sandal (if you're the right size)
Love my new Chaco sandals. They are ideal for walks in the area and hiking. I tested them the other day when I was walking down a steep trail and also had to carry my 35lb toddler for over a mile. I would never do it in gentle passions. The support is phenomenal. I have high arches so please look for shoes that really support them! Important note on size. I ended up wearing 7 wide in it. My foot size is 8 M and I usually wear 8.5 in running shoes (even 9 in Mizuno running shoes). Chaco 8's are too long - curvature in the wrong place. The middle width was too narrow even though my foot is size M. In fact, they fit my mom's AAAA wide feet! Chaco 7s are too small for me, but Chaco 7W fits perfectly. So if something is wrong, try more sizes!
