This is a must have for Wii U owners, it's actually slightly more expensive than some of the other cheaper cables I've seen and I was skeptical because no one tested it for use on the Wii U in Considered , but it works on the Wii U's hard drive. I first bought a cheaper cable for my Wii U, but over time it became flimsy and flimsy, and while it did the job I couldn't move the system an inch. Otherwise I would get an error message telling me that the hard drive was removed. At first I was concerned that my USB ports were damaged, but when I plugged it in and even moved the system around during boot, everything worked! voila, like magic, and it hasn't let me down since. The cable is a nice length but not too long and feels solid and the ends slide smoothly into my Wii U ports and hard drive and they feel good, solid not flimsy. it was packaged in the usual Asian style packaging but don't let that put you off or question the quality. Also written for Samsung but it works for Wii U. Make sure you get a Y-cable if you want it for Wii U as there are shorter cables of different colors that are not individual Y-cables. cables that you buy from a reliable seller.
