We tried several brands of cat food before settling on this one. We care for our local humane society and often take in their newborn kittens (up to 8 weeks old). Some of the formulas gave them diarrhea but there is something I have no idea what does (psyllium) but it does help prevent them from having diarrhea as well as constipation. So I'm guessing it's some kind of kitten fiber. All I know is that they appear to be growing up healthy and gaining weight as if they were being fed by their own mother. In terms of taste, I'm only giving it 3 stars because I haven't tried the product myself and the kittens can't tell us if it's tasty or disgusting. as some take it with no problem and some struggle with feeding at every turn.
