I am a professional welder with 20 years of experience. I've had many different hoods including the Miller Elite and the Top Jackson. I stopped buying expensive ones because I often drop and break them. I'm a metalworker so I mostly work upstairs. For the last ten years I've bought cheap ones on port charters for $40-$50 each. I just replaced them when they broke and it was pretty cheap. I saw it on Revain and tried mimfiguredmi for $30. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The true view is great. When I first tried this I was arc welding and I figured it wasn't dark enough right next to the arc. Maybe he just needed time to fully recharge, or time to get used to it. I was recently in a welding shop and this hood has really proven itself there. The store is poorly lit but I could see what I was doing. Many Thanks.
