UPDATE 6/18/15: Belt size depends entirely on where you wear your pants. Pants size 6 (a bit too big), I first tried on the belt with a seat on the second hole, and after 2 days with socks - on the third hole (I hoped that it would tear a little, and it happened) . onto a pair of shorts that are about 1-2 inches below my belly button and had to go to the tiniest hole to allow room. So take the reviews with a pinch of salt, because to go smaller, wear pants that are larger. If you wear low-rise jeans, go for your normal size, or even one size larger if you have large hips. I received the belt today. I'm a size 4/6, closer to a 4. I'm 5ft 7" and about 140. The little one was too small, I couldn't even pull it over the largest hole. from (and I read to downsize!) belts of incredible quality. It is so soft and matches the color of the photo perfectly. I read reviews that the color was lighter than the picture but mine doesn't look much lighter. The belt feels very durable and I love the emphasis on the small belt buckle. Very unique and cute! I'm sending it back and ordering medium instead, but at this point the product still deserves 5 stars. The product is no less quality because the size was wrong. Just pay attention to the dimensions when ordering. If you wear pants around your hips, you need to go up one size. If you wear high waist pants, the size may be more accurate.
