This is a lot heavier and feels sturdier than most plasticky feeling adirondack chairs you normally find. It is nice that it was so compact to ship, so if you move it can collapse back down with some work. The cupholder is a heck of a nice touch, but it is a bit flimsy and doesn't slide in or out easily. Assembly was pretty simple, but the way the nuts slide into the frame doesn't feel the most secure and there is no thread lock of any kinds so I imagine this will loosen up with regular usage pretty quick (I'll do my best to update over the next few months).On the bright side, this is very comfortable and feels really well built. I'm a big guy (200lb+) and it doesn't flex hardly at all when I sit down or get up. It would be nice if it had some curvature like some others do, but this is still really comfortable as it. It is around 25lbs I think, so moving it up/down stairs is a bit cumbersome due to the size and weight. I think it is a great and clever alternative to a similar wooden adirondack chair and much better than the plastic budget options. I don't know if its quite worth the asking price, but time will tell. Being on the coast, this will hopefully hold up better than most wood options.
