I live in an apartment and I hate calling the landlord to come over and do minor repairs. I'm also an independent woman so I have my own modest tool collection and love this tool chest for keeping things organized. I used to have a big, hard, two-piece plastic cart with a handle in the middle, but things got lost in it and it took me forever to rummage through to find what I needed. Now I can store screws, nails and dowels separately and see at a glance how many I have. I've found that I also have about 30 Allen keys that I salvaged from various disassembled packages of furniture and now I can throw away most of them without fear that they will be short! I like that the inner smaller compartments on the top shelves are adjustable. and that I can move the delimiters. There are also multiple compartments on the upper exterior for extra storage. The main compartment for hand tools is spacious. The overall construction is solid, although the materials could be a bit heavier for the price. The hinges are well articulated and the shelves are easy to move and put into place; Locks are strong and secure. It's well built, well designed and works well, and it's much quicker and easier for me to get tools and small gear.
