They are NOT metal - they are UL
I was disappointed when I received it. I expected metal but they are plastic. If I re-read the description more carefully, it says it's a "reinforced nylon body". OH! I saved them and installed 2 of them. Everything went fine with the installation. Lots of screws and no missing parts. Only time will tell their durability.
