The bucket itself is normal, a bucket. But the lid and its gimmick leave a lot to be desired and the opening at the top doesn't fit older Anova sous vide devices. The device I own, a 2015 800-watt Bluetooth device, sticks out too far to fit in the pre-cut area. To add to the problems, the lid itself is an absolute mess to remove, and the piece of plastic that slides up and down the lid's legs has a very thin piece of plastic that holds it to the ribs of the legs. I see this as an early point of failure when used with truly capable devices. I think it would be better if the seller or manufacturer had a list of compatible devices rather than leaving this up to chance for potential customers.
