Suitable for charging 2 devices with one micro USB cable

My front door has a ring doorbell that is permanently connected to the micro USB cable that runs around the house, so I never have to charge the battery. I needed to install a second doorbell on my front door for my upstairs renter, so I bought this Y-adapter to charge my second doorbell using the original micro-USB cable without having to run a second cable. As of August 2019 this setup has been working great for a week and will be updated if I have any future durability issues.

Pros

Note: The long micro USB plug supports charging and data transfer. The short micro USB connector can only be charged. This cable does not support OTG function.
