I bought two of these display cases as a gift for my husband for his collection of knives. The covers look nice and go well with my decor. However, when we tried to open them to insert the knives, the screws on both latches came loose. If it was one I could see where it is available on the site. Both of them just aren't very well put together. Since I've already unpacked it and thrown away all the packaging, we'll try to find a way to work with what we have. We tried removing the latches completely, but the doors just swung open. We'll try magnets to keep them closed. We don't actually need them to close, so not having a locking latch is fine. When you buy 2 new items, you don't really have to play with them to make them work properly for you. They weren't exactly cheap. I hope the hinges hold and we won't have a problem with those screws coming loose in the future as we open the door to add more knives to the collection. Actually not very impressed, rather annoyed as it was a gift.
