I received the 8" version with adapters. Works well and is pretty solid on my RX-8. I put away the big suction cup on the right side of the windshield. from the windshield wipers and a smaller suction cup over the back seat. I definitely recommend attaching the front suction cup to the bike before putting the bike on the car, otherwise one slip is all it takes and your bike's fork will scratch your car's paintwork or worse Rear tire should hold up well to painting as long as there aren't any rocks stuck in it.Also, it's worth getting adapter versions to protect yourself in the future.Adaptor versions are compatible with both types of axles, while the other version is only with axes in the form of a skewer compatible. The box is too small for 8", but everything is fine if you are creative. Be sure to leave the protective suction cup covers when not attached to your vehicle. and I am happy with my purchase.
