My wife pushed me to install a ceiling fan in our very low bedroom. In an old house it is necessary to open a wall in order to put a return duct somewhere to equalize the heat. We live with fans. THIS CEILING FAN IS also a #master light! Weight no more than 2.5 pounds. LED lighting! Disassemble the old bracket, screw into the metal box, connect the cable, screw in the bracket: DONE! Various light settings can be set using a small remote control: bright white, medium white, greyish and yellowish "sunset". The fan has 3 speeds! Our ceiling is low and not quite straight, so a ceiling fan with wide blades was a risky and silly idea. But it extends less than an inch lower than the old ceiling light! So easy to install, love it! Lightweight for a light breeze. Impressed to the Nth degree! Looks great!
