. This toilet brush has worked well so far. It turns the water brown, but that's not a big problem for me. I think this can happen with non-synthetic bristles. does not work for two reasons: 1. the glue did not stick and 2. when it stuck, unpleasant water dripped from the brush onto the floor. and a handle on the outside of the bowl. So it can dry out a bit. I then place it in a small terracotta flower pot that has an inverted glass lid inside to cover the drain hole. This is the bare minimum, no fuss. Maybe later I'll buy another one for our other toilet.
