Bent rod, missing hardware, poor quality control
The horizontal rod (coil mount) was bent when I received the carriage. It was well packaged and double boxed so I don't think it was damage in transit. I was able to bend it back to a relatively horizontal position. 4 washers are missing (there were 4 bolts and 4 nuts). Seriously poor quality control when you can't even get that small amount of gear in one box. I had washers from my store. So after bending the crooked assembly and putting my own hardware in, it's all together and should work just fine. Do not return it because of defects/missing parts.
