Just bad design. I have tried fitting two different shower heads, both of which cannot be attached to the filter because the spout is WAY too small and the filter makes it difficult to screw in. I'm sure the filter works great, but keep in mind that you'll most likely need some sort of extension that takes up little space. * To update. Although the neck is too small and in dire need of an overhaul, I have increased my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The filter is clearly doing something as my 1st stage filter can be replaced after three weeks of use. I'm hoping to get 2 months of use before changing the filters, but that's a small price to pay for clean water.
