Nice Small Size Camping/Camping Stove

I have several different types of small camping stoves and overall this is the best. It's not the lightest and most compact backpack, but it will meet many needs from 1 backpacker to 2-3 backpackers. It's sturdy and can hold a decent pan or pot without tipping over. It can also carry small stainless steel camping cups that fit in the bottom of a 32-ounce Nalgene water bottle. Many of the smaller stoves can safely carry either a small camping mug or a large pot/pan, but not both. A piezo lighter will work, but it's best to carry a spare lighter or 2. The hose is long enough to keep the fuel can away from the heat or behind the windshield. The flame dies out compared to tiny rocket stoves that concentrate heat in a small area (good for boiling water, but no more). It doesn't spread the flame as much as a regular stove, but better than most small stoves. I liked this model so much that I bought a second one.

Pros
  • The body of the camping stove is separated from the gas cartridge for safety (gas cartridge is NOT included).
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
