Used for a bachelor party and very easy to assemble. It took me about 30 minutes to get ready. I'm 5ft 4ft and it came down to my chin so I'd probably say he's 5ft. Makes great jewelry and photo props. It stands by itself, but it is not recommended to be used outdoors unless you stick it firmly and protect the base from the wind. If the floor is uneven, it may tip over. Just put it in a corner, away from people as it can easily tip over as it is not heavy.
