08/11/2018 I bought this brand based on reviews and am disgusted that the badger in their possession always breaks and the treatment that They get support from their offshore call center. Installation is nearly impossible with the EZ mounting system. Problems with the attachment of the pillow, the clock with a gasket. For the record, I've installed many garbage chutes (mostly Badgers) over the years. Specific issue: The gasket fits snugly onto the mounting ring BEFORE installing the gasket onto the flange. Either the flange width or the gasket width is too wide for the tank to fit properly. There is no possibility of getting caught on the pins of the funnel. The video shows the smooth assembly of these two parts, but in reality everything is very different. The side of the sink is clearly marked on the seal. Nothing is shown on the user manual diagram, only diagrams that do not give the final appearance. You can get a 1/2 seal for a 1/2 install, but not both. The main thing is that the gasket does not interfere with the capture of the funnel mechanism. See photos. What happens, however, is that the washer interferes with the funnel mechanism once it's installed (and whether it's upside down, inside out, whatever you have). See photos. Caller ID, more than an hour bounce and no progress. Manufuactutr is closed on weekends - overall it was FAIL No kitchen sink now until at least Monday if I can get any support during their hours at all. ----Update: The instructions are poor and the gasket looks like it should be installed some other way. Hold the gasket down and it will mount. It's easy once you're familiar, and I hope documenting this frustration helps other buyers.
