Nice and thick stretchy material. Cuts of hips are not too high, snaps are plastic not metal, fits really well. I am 5'2" 132 lbs muscular and the medium is perfect. I sized up, normally wear a small or xs in tops. Very happy with the quality for price so I will be back for more colors to add this as a staple to my wardrobe. I have bought something similar from Nordstrom and I like this one way better.
