This stand really exceeded my expectations in several ways. It arrived one day early. The box was size appropriate and protected the components. I assembled the stand in 10 minutes using no tools using the one page instructions. Although the stand is plastic, it is black and soft to touch. One in use you don't really notice that its plastic. The size is perfect for a standalone printer stand, with 3 shelves and a 2 inch deep drawer that we keep spare ink cartridges in. The height of the stand is easily adjustable so you could use under a desk or table. It has locking wheels and is easy to roll around. If your priority is to have a functional printer stand without the cost of a piece of furniture, this one is ideal.
