Handy closet tool
Once you learn how to open and close a knife, it becomes a very handy tool. There is a piece of plastic that locks the knife open so it doesn't close on your fingers. You slide the piece of plastic to the side instead of down when you want to close the knife. The knife is firmly fixed. This is not a knife that closes with a simple push. It requires constant force to push it into place so it's safer for your fingers. I tried cutting yarn and cardboard with it and it worked fine. I like that the knife isn't too bulky when closed like the rest of the carabiner.
