cheap knife with cheap carabiner

This is a cheap knife with a cheap carabiner. It conveniently attaches to a backpack so it's always handy for small repairs to your gear on the trail or smearing peanut butter etc. I wouldn't trust it for climbing. The knife blade length is about 3 inches (see photo). The carabiner is approximately 4" long (outside) and 3" inside.

Lobster Clasp Knife

Carabiner parts are decent except the hinged rivet is cheap and unattractive. The knife is sharp enough to shave off arm hair, but it seems to be one of the inferior stainless steels for knives that doesn't last long on the blade. It feels awkward in the hand, but is quickly forgotten in use. A Phillips screwdriver has a small head that may not work well with large screws. A flathead screwdriver has a very thin edge, but it's also quite wide - IMHO an awkward compromise. Overall it's…

Sharp but cheap in storage & organization

The title speaks for itself.- Blade. Very sharp, with a serrated base (good for ropes and straps). It opens but doesn't close, which I don't think is appropriate for a backpack. - Carabiner. Light, but at least it closes (otherwise it would be impossible to use it as a pen.) - Screwdriver blades. See image. The right one is new. The one on the left is used to turn (try) the stuck screw. Now a good corkscrew. It's always good to have a spare spatula in the glove box and I'll keep one of those in

The best is the looks. But the quality is lacking.

Very light aluminum carib, not anodized but painted. The rivet holding the gate is too long and not "clean". The screw on the opposite end is a bad choice - it should be a rounded pin or ring. Since it is a screw, it grinds the gate lock. The knife is definitely light - better than nothing, but not the best choice. tool tips? Well, the Carib started breaking at the tips when used on a stuck screw. I'll throw them in the trunk of my car in case I need to cut a line at the hardware store.

Handy little thing: clothes and closet storage

This turned out to be just what I needed - a knife with a carabiner so I could attach it to the handle of a shovel I used for feeding use birds. I used to have to stop what I was doing and look for scissors EVERY time I had to open a bag of something and I have five bird feeders so I open a lot of bags! Note that he also has a screwdriver. Nozzle and flat head with bottle opener. Guess I'll keep one in the car too! It's not the most solid build I've seen, hence four stars out of five, but you…

Handy closet tool

Once you learn how to open and close a knife, it becomes a very handy tool. There is a piece of plastic that locks the knife open so it doesn't close on your fingers. You slide the piece of plastic to the side instead of down when you want to close the knife. The knife is firmly fixed. This is not a knife that closes with a simple push. It requires constant force to push it into place so it's safer for your fingers. I tried cutting yarn and cardboard with it and it worked fine. I like that the…

Quality Control Issues?

Carabiner with knife and screwdriver bits - a new idea. But. One look at these carabiners tells me they are unrefined. -- made of stamped steel; The chrome-plated screwdriver bits look sturdy - they're comfortable and work, but wobble and really need a washer - and while one carabiner has a knife blade that will engage, the other carabiner's blade will not engage, and that's because of its dual function Blade is very sharp , the user runs the risk of closing the blade on his finger. This large…

Simple, cheap, but good for emergencies.

Didn't expect perfection for such a low price. And not received. At the same time, carabiner knives with a Phillips head and a flat screwdriver are ideal for emergency use. I wouldn't expect them to work for everyday use, but as a glove box tool and/or bug bag tool they do the trick. The blade can be snapped into the locked position without having to pull it. Outside. Screwdrivers are fine, but probably won't last long with repeated use. The carabiner itself is fine and has a locking ring. In…

Always Available Tool

Locking carabiner knives are well designed and easy to carry and use every day. Each of the two black carabiners is 4 inches long from end to end and 2 ΒΌ inches at its widest oval shape. The carabiner opens and closes with a screw mechanism that can be easily opened and closed with thumb and forefinger. I can snap it on and off with one hand by strap (3 3/8" inner hole) or strap. Very sharp 3" stainless steel triangular blade (1/4" swivel in carabiner), slides to one side of the oval. The blade
