I reaIly like these, they are nice enough to wear pretty much anytime. Really nice material with a waistband that doesn't roll over. I like the zip side pockets but wish they had a deeper back pocket with a zipper or button. The supplier suggested to go up one size, I do not recommend that, I am 5'8" 155lbs with a 32" inch waist. I ordered medium and they were baggy all over especially in the butt. I gave them to my son who liked them and then ordered some for himself. I re- ordered three pair in small and they fit me perfectly in the waist and butt with the length being just above the knee where they should be. I wash them with other clothes and they keep there size. If you have a thick or husky build they may be a little snug for you and that may be why they suggest going up a size. This type of material is stretchy as well, so depending on how you like them to fit either order your own size or go down a size.
