I switched to this from an HP 27F monitor I bought last year and am very happy with my decision. If you use a regular gaming monitor, it's 100% worth choosing one that's designed for gaming, not one that just offers some "gaming features". I spent about $200 on an HP and switched to this after upgrading my PC this summer, and the refresh rate jump from 75Hz to 144Hz can only be described as "pure butter". . It adds a whole new dimension or quality to any game you play that just can't be understood without trying it. The smaller 24" size is refreshing and saves WAY more space, the image is much sharper despite both displays being 1920 x 1080 (I know the PPI difference between the two isn't huge but it's definitely noticeable) and the colors on this display are much brighter than any friend I've had. If you can shell out just under $200 I would definitely walk around in it every day. And a common question seems to be whether it comes with a DisplayPort cable. As of July 2020 I can confirm it comes with one that works great and even has hooks to keep them connected. Well done ASUS.
