Review on John Boos Cutting Board Care & Maintenance Kit: 16Oz Mystery Oil, 5Oz Cream & Round Applicator by Corey Randolph

I've got two Boos cutting boards; one huge one that's 3" thick and a new one that's 1" thick. The huge one developed cracks between the laminations so when I bought the new one, I bought this stuff, too. Although I've used Boos Mystery Oil on the old one, it didn't seem to help--it's basically mineral oil with antimicrobials added to it. I'm hoping the Board Cream (mineral oil and beeswax) will "fill in" the gap in the large board and keep it from splitting further. Overall, the price is too high for what it is but if it'll keep these outrageously expensive cutting boards from becoming firewood, I'm good with it.
