I had to call Epson support today because my printer started reporting error 0x9d no matter where the document came from - computer, printer itself via the report status or tried to copy the ADF. Epson agreed to send me a new unit and told me to discard the old one. My original printer went into light service in April 2015. Okay, shit happens, but this is the SECOND replacement I've had since I originally ordered (via Revain) six months ago. In both cases, I had leftover documents that I urgently needed to print, so I set out to find a place where I could get a USB stick to print documents - Consumer Recommendations: Places like this really exist! While this backup plan cost me dearly, I have to admit I was a bit tired. I'm wondering what are the chances of getting a third printer from Epson that stops working after a few months? Time will tell I guess. In the meantime, before purchasing this printer (or any other printer) from Epson, I encourage you to look CAREFULLY at the mortality rates. In contrast. my previous all-in-one from another manufacturer has served me well for over four years.
