Review on 🐢 Nutrish Zero Grain Dog Food by Rachael Ray – Real Meat, Grain Free (Packaging May Vary) by Kelly Henderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Look to salmon as the first and only "meat " ingredient to curb your pet's allergies.

My adopted Beagle suffered from excessive earwax build-up for many years. I adopted him at the age of 6 and in later years just assumed that his 'occasional' struggles with earwax/dirt buildup were just the reality of a long eared dog. We have cleaned his ears regularly with the help of our vets with varying degrees of success. Then, after moving to a new state and meeting with a new vet, she reviewed his diet and suggested switching to a "salmon only" protein diet as it might reduce earwax buildup. She said the ears of dogs like him are the first place food allergies might show up. For the past two years I've fed him nothing but high quality canned food made from real lamb and chicken, so I decided to try her recommendation for a salmon protein diet. A month later, his ears are completely clogged and he never shakes his head as if to clean his ears. I still check his ears daily and can refuse to use cleaning products. He was following a strict diet of Rachel Ray's Zero Grain Salmon solid dog food as well as Trader Joe's Samon Jerky Dog Treats daily, and it's been an absolute blessing. Switching from canned food and treats containing raw protein and other mystery meats to pure salmon food has improved my dogs' well-being and quality of life. I recommend this food choice to any dog that has struggled with allergies in the past!
