I'm just looking at performance not assembly experience because I haven't assembled it yet! The 4 LAN ports on the bottom are a bonus for temporary connections. I hosted a LAN party for 5 people, set up a guest Wi-Fi network for all the phones, and connected 3 of my 5 PCs with LAN ports. We used 400GB of data in 3 days, loads of twitch streams and latency intensive games (CSGO at semi-pro level, that was my team) and this hotspot was killing us. We had no problems with the internet. Management is annoying as you have to run the app instead of having your own IP address, but this is the ubiquitous way at the moment. I love the extra features this process offers, e.g. B. if you have multiple devices, it's all 1 web portal. Obviously this is for those who are tech savvy and I think it's perfect. Range: It's anecdotal but I think the awesome eap1300 we use at work has more range but this product was in my apartment and I didn't want a big saucer on my ceiling. It's a bit smaller and slimmer. I only have a 1200 square foot apartment and it covers my area well. Even in my garage through a concrete wall. But I have mine perfectly centered in my space. If I put it in the farthest corner and it has to go through my kitchen and guest bathroom, I get 50 less, not 300. But that's obvious since it has to go through the mirror and my appliances. I don't think anything else would give better results. Not a fan of the fact that the injector is largely proprietary. 48V is not normal. I actually wasn't looking too much for a generic one like tp-link or something, so maybe I just missed it. I think 5 starts is too many and 4 is not enough. Probably 9/10. I suppose in a big house it would be great to have 3 or more of these.
