This watch is beautiful and every detail is very good. This is my first pocket watch and I'm glad I chose it. I wanted to wait over a year before leaving a comment. I received it in December 2011 and to this day the clock is ticking. This is a good product. I would definitely buy more from this company again! I like how the watch opens on both sides and you can see all the mechanisms and gears. The best thing I like about this watch is that you can see the mainspring. This way you can visually see how many wraps you've done as you wind, and at the end of the day you can see how much tension is left on the mainspring. The watch came in its own packaging which included a cleaning cloth, stand, chain and Gotham card as proof of purchase.
