This is a very nice watch, great for display and storytelling. It can add a few minutes a day, but it's easy to set up if I turn it on every day. Excellent advertising line, "requires no batteries".

I really liked the watch, it's really nice, it's a good weight and surprisingly easy to read, at least for me. Only downside, I was expecting a better chain from a $200 pocket watch, it seems a bit cheap because once it was locked in place and I dropped it, the chain seems to come loose and my watch falls to the ground. Although the watch itself is fantastic, I only deducted one star for the cheap chain.

I only give this watch 4 stars because it cannot be engraved. I've read other reviews where people said it had an engraving, now I have to assume it was only on the face of the watch which I was hoping to engrave a message on when opened. I have taken them to a number of places and they have not been able to do this as it is not a smooth surface. If you are not planning on engraving this would be the perfect watch, my dad still loves it!

This is a solid design with incredible detail. When both sides of the watch are open, you can see through the watch what is unique. The wheels inside the watch look very elegant. I kept finding myself just looking at my watch. Very happy with the purchase for my uncle.
