Eh. I'm a bit disappointed. They are difficult to use for calligraphy, do not produce smooth lines, and are a bit dry to the touch unless you press down on the paper (which makes the lines thicker). Also, the blue marker splattered ink when I opened the bag. The blending handle became moldy after one use (I have other water brushes and never had a problem). Gold and silver colors are not gold or silver (just gray and mustard). Finally, the water blender pen doesn't blend colors as smoothly as watercolor paints, so it's not a substitute for real watercolor paints. That being said, the presentation and packaging are great and the color variety is wonderful. It's a great gift for a child or a beginner who needs to practice their strokes.
