I wear a shirt and tie to work every day, so I consider myself an authority on business attire. In my opinion the 80s Eagle shirt is the best shirt you can buy. Keep in mind that these comments only apply to the '80s' t-shirt. Other Eagle shirts don't have the same characteristics that make '80s shirts so special. Here are the features: First, it's a denser material so it stays clear throughout the day. Even on hot summer days. Second, the collar and cuffs have an extra layer of material that gives these areas extra definition. I like that the cuffs are snug on the wrist and don't ride up in the palm which just looks sloppy and makes the cuff dirty. And finally, it's about the whitest white shirt you will ever have. It's a lighter white than the other classic white shirts in my wardrobe. Someone here commented that there is too much material in the sleeves, that they are "too big", but I disagree. The shirt has good proportions as a "Regular Fit". This person may have bought a long sleeve shirt for their arm but I would have preferred the tailored or athletic fit of this shirt but it doesn't seem to be offered, wish the 80's line came in a few different colors and was like on buttons . Anyway, I have 4 of these white shirts in my closet and am about to buy 3 more (the white one is a classic look and goes with everything). I checked them out at my local department store but they seem to have decided to carry the cheaper Eagle shirts. Buy this shirt. You will be very happy with it.
