I'm so glad I bought them after my caesarean. They fit around my belly button and prevent the band from being cut. I wear a large size (trousers 10-12) and ordered them in X-Large and they fit great after giving birth. The other underwear I ordered didn't cover the back area very well, but it provided enough coverage and I didn't have to constantly pull it out of my crevice. They are made of pleasantly breathable cotton and are easy to wash. I plan to order more and would definitely recommend.
