I was a bit worried at first because I couldn't get it to charge vertically, but horizontally it works. I have previously purchased another product that comes with the kit (an iPad receiver), it will not work without this other item. And the receiver only works with its own brand. But I'm glad to find this because it's the only wireless charger I could find for my iPad Pro 12.9. The price is good and it works. The stand is very solid and the phone only goes up when standing directly on the logo. Very convenient to use. Many Thanks
