Good idea but it's better to have a sprocket nut tool that screws into the sprocket nut. The reason for this is that the sprocket nut needs to be held securely when screwing it into the steering column. If the claw nut is loose, it can move more to one side than the other. You can see that the tabs on the claw nut are more curved on one side. Some might not care, but installing a star nut on an expensive alloy steerer fork needs to be done right. There is a similar tool that screws onto the star nut.
