Review on Humminbird 7000301 HHGPS Connection Cable by Ryan Bennett

This harness is required to connect your Humminbird GPS fish finder to a Coast Guard marine radio with emergency positioning option. I believe it is also used to transfer data between multiple finders or other Huminbird accessories. The cable is well made and works great, a star is deducted for the shitty vague manual. I'm an electronics engineer by trade and I was having a bit of a hard time figuring out which wires connect to the wires on my standard Horizon radio. As the number of manufacturers of these radios is very limited it would be helpful for Humminbird to have separate instructions for radios of each brand as they use different wire colors for each brand. I think for that price they could do the homework and I couldn't. Their help over the phone wasn't that impressive as I got the feeling the Humminbird guy didn't know as much about it as I did.
