I have an older brother of this case, a Silverstone Tek TS432U. This device has built-in RAID functions. I was very happy with it. This time, however, I wanted something simpler, just one case that could fit four different drives. I looked at some of the cheaper models but found too many stories about problems of one kind or another. In the end I decided it was worth paying a little more for the expected quality of this storage tower as I was happy with the build quality of the TS432U. I've had it for about a month now and so far I haven't been disappointed. This is a quality device. metal all around. A very strong feeling for him. The drives slide in and out easily, although I only pulled out a drive once to try it out. To be honest, I put the drives in the case, turned it on, connected the USB3 cable to the computer and practically forgot about the case ever since. It just works. It's installed on my TS432U and both just do what they're supposed to do. There are cheaper cases. Some of them can even be very good. Considering the cost of the discs I put in, I figured it was worth paying a little more to get what I knew would be of high quality. When the time comes for the next expansion, I will probably buy one of these devices again.
