What meager instructions that came with this product make no sense. The description is almost entirely misleading. In fact, I would say that all of this is a lie because I have no idea how to use the features that the description advertises to buyers. I would not purchase this product unless clear AND COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS are included. For example, I have no idea how to use the noise canceling feature or how to hear myself on the phone talking to someone when using plugs. UPDATE: I've used them a few times and have come to appreciate the sound quality. Noise-cancelling is negligible - I now assume this feature is always on when headphones are in use - but I don't notice much attenuation of outside noise other than the fact that you're stuffing your ears with rubber, which in and of itself reduces outside noise. They're not as tight as I'd like. I don't know how to actually reduce the volume in headphones, which may not be possible. The sound is average. Don't buy them without detailed instructions and features.
