LEDs will blink on ANY shiny object, not just the camera lens. This is not what you are hoping to find hidden camera as you will be on a wild goose hunt. It flashed on my watch, a metal vase, a photo frame in my own living room, and the camera didn't show anything because I only saw flashes or reflections. It's a cheap construction and the LED went out on the first day.
